The work presented in this exhibition has emerged from the strong feelings she experienced during her recent journey into motherhood. The need to touch clay was a desire that couldn't always be fulfilled, and the few moments she could dedicate to it were for educational purposes or commissions. Now that her son is two years old, she has gradually regained moments of pure artistic creation, where minimalism, sobriety in form, and critical reflection on how human actions harm the earth guide her hands.

Cuina the Fang is not only a ceramics studio, this project aims to be a physical space for gathering, learning, and experimentation, open to anyone who wants to learn or refine techniques to express themselves through ceramics. Its creators, Laura Huguet Nonó and Neus Riera Tur, advocate for the use of natural, sustainable materials and the revival of artisanal ceramics from both a practical and artistic perspective, ultimately aiming to return to traditional craftsmanship. They intend to reflect on the island's environment and operate like the old ceramic workshops and traditional kitchens, without pretensions, at a slow pace.

Laura Huguet Nonó, a skilled educator with a background in teaching, offers a variety of ceramics classes, most of them at Cuina de Fang studio. These classes are available for all ages and some are conducted in collaboration with the City Council of Eivissa, the City Council of Sant Josep, and the Consell of Eivissa. Regular participation in ceramics classes can enhance creativity, improve motor skills, and provide a relaxing and therapeutic experience.
